Its been a crazy 15ish days and Ive had lots of calls/texts/emails to ask for updates. SO here is my update!! The move went well, Im all settled in and things are going good. It hasnt hit me yet that this is long term. My cat, Molly is a sweetheart she loves to cuddle and play with her mouse...watching her walk around the apartment meowing with the mouse in her mouth is pretty funny! She was declawed last week and has healed well! I started work on the 7th. Week 1 was pretty boring as it was mostly classroom and computer training. Week 2 has been okay, today was my first day on the unit. It went well and I learned 2 things: One, dont sign out of EPIC (the computer system) when the computers randomly stop working. Two, if I get off work at 7:30pm I probably wont get home until about 8:30pm. It defiantly hasnt hit me that I am a real nurse now and I can do things on my own. The nurse orientating me to the unit today had to remind me a few times lol :) ANYWAY! Thank you everyone for all your support and for checking in with me! I love you all!
