Its been a good week. We got the monthly progress report on Austin. He has improved tremendously in his speech/cognitive and memory area. His physical functioning is getting better but still has a ways to go. His double vision is improving and he can see single at about 3-8 feet. But his close up vision is still double and somewhat blurry since his eyes stay dilated most of the time. He did get glasses which he needed for distance but they also put prisms in to help his eyes track together. He got them on Friday but they need to be adjusted. Today he enjoyed going to the TORCS race and visiting with everyone. That was good for him.
