Its been a little crazy here in Atlanta ! Scott and i are fine ! We got home safe ! So most of you have seen on the news channels ! This is a repeat of what happened here in Atlanta in 1983 , so 31 years ago before I moved here there was a storm coming that was meant to miss us and it did not ! Just like yesterday it was a mass exodus to leave the city ! When you have 2 million people all leaving work at the same time its chaos ! Also remember Atlanta has a lot of traffic all the time traveling north or south .31 years ago 285 the ring road around Atlanta was like yesterday was littered with hundreds of abandoned cars were people ran out of gas ! Just like yesterday no one was prepared this does not happen here very often ! We dont usually worry about things like keeping water, blankets etc in our vehicles The sun was out this afternoon The interstates are mostly clear the side roads were the sun has not got too are still icy ! it should all melt tommorow as a sunny day is in the forecast ! We got back from orlando were it also went from 80 yesterday to 40 today ! Its crazy weather everywhere Im off to Chicago Friday back for 2 weeks at the French pastry school ! Be safe and stay warm N
