Its been a rather quiet few weeks for Sarnia Guinea Pig Rescue, which has been fortunate as Leo, the founder of SGPR, has been feeling under the weather recovering with a vomiting bug. Unfortunately this period of illness came at the same time that Carol and David Freeman (huge supporters of the rescue) arrived in Guernsey on a surprise visit. Carol and David brought with them several donations of knitted blankets and other items to be sold to raise money for the rescue. We werent able to spend as much time with Carol and David as we would have liked but we will make it up to them when they return to Guernsey next year :-) Leo is now feeling much better and this weekend is going to be rather hectic with erecting a lovely aviary which has been kindly donated by one of our supporters as well as all the routine cleaning and care duties. Sunday will also see the third meeting of the trustees of SGPR. BUSY WHEEK-END AHEAD!!!
