Its been a truly bad day here at our house. We had to put Archie down. His congestive heart failure was just too far along and he was gasping for air and coughing most of the time. We got him in September of 2003 when he was about 6 weeks old. He was the type of dog that could make you so crazy one minute and then make you laugh the next. I picked him out, which meant that he took to Corie immediately. His stubborn personality showed itself the very first night when I tried to move him while he napped. Throughout the years, if it breathed hed try to hump it. If it didnt, hed try to mark it. If it was another dog, hed dominate it. Yet with all this and three other dogs in our house...the place now feels so empty. He had the biggest personality of any small dog. Safe home, Archie. You were a good little guy and will always be my buddy.
