For children older than four whose parents have chosen to hold off their vaccination until entering kindergarten, it would be wise to rethink their decision and vaccinate now, at least against measles. Also, if traveling abroad, infants 6 to 11 months of age may receive their MMR vaccine earlier than the usual age of one, when MMR is routinely recommended.
