Its my birthday and Ill post what I want to Part 1: I am not an anti-government or no government man. I am very much pro-government. I , however, believe in a smaller, more limited government. A government that is limited in its powers, authorities and responsibilities. I support government as the hand that protects equal rights, liberties and freedoms not as the arm of social activism. I believe in a government that leaves individuals and industry free to apply themselves according to their abilities and talents and restrain them only in acts of harm to others. I believe in a government free of religious favoritism and influence but that does not hinder faith or its free and lawful exercise. I support a government that is the protector of rights not the minister of privilege. I believe that government is neither parent nor child and as such has no authority to implement and enforce so called family values. I support a government that uses its available resources, within the reasonably required means of those that subsidize it, to help those that cannot help themselves. I cannot support a government that creates and promotes a perpetual and almost inescapable welfare state. I am not the candidate that despises Big Liberal Government but wants to replace it with Big Conservative Government.
