“Its not much of a tail, but Im sort of attached to it.” Eeyore is a donkey who resides in the southeast corner of the 100 Acre Wood. Known for being a wee bit gloomy, Eeyore is blue-gray in colour and stuffed with sawdust. He also has a small pink bow on his tail. He once lost his tail in the 100 Acre Wood, and Owl found it and began using it as bell-pull outside his door. Happily, Pooh located it and Christopher Robin pins it back on the little donkey. Although he is delighted to have his lost tail fixed, Eeyore is concerned about it and often will often enquire after his tail and whether or not it has been properly fixed and at the right point. His home is marked as Eeyores Gloomy Place: Rather Boggy and Sad on the map. Amongst his favourite things are pots and red balloons. Eeyore loves being remembered on his birthday, but he does not like being bounced, and he is not fond of swimming. His other concern is that his house keeps falling down because it is made of sticks and he has to rebuild it again, and again, and again. The Winnie-the-Pooh audio book is available on YouTube.
