Its property tax time in Florida - where I am happy to pay up because it means we have our very own place to watch the tide and the sunsets. But I cant believe how many tax districts our property is in (a little $$ goes to each). Transportation, library ops, childrens services, school board for 3 different funds, water management, mosquito control (they fail at that, let me tell you!), inland navigation, county ops, and some odd thing called G O refunding. I guess because we are waterfront we have the inland navigation thing. Anyway, look at your property tax bill, it can be interesting, LOL! I wish some $$ went to saving manatees there, though. :-(
