Its ready for download.... Bristol Motor Speedway - DIRT!!!!! (for NASCAR Racing 2003) Hosting two weeks of dirt track racing is tough enough, but waiting till within a month of race day to build a track to race on borders on the insane! Amazingly, thats exactly what Bristol Motor Speedway did on 2000 and 2001. The speedway imported nearly 1,000 truckloads of clay from a nearby farm to transform its famous concrete layout with 36-degree banking into something a little more suitable for dirt racing. Bristols half-mile dirt layout is more than 75-feet wide with 22-degree banking in the turns. To ease removal of the clay when the racing is over, more than 700 cubic yards of sawdust was put down as a boundary layer between the dirt and the track. Beyond covering the storm drains to keep the dirt out, little else had to be done to prepare the track for its new dirt surface. And boy, is it fast. Pennzoil World of Outlaws driver Sammy Swindell tested at the track and posted a time of 13.60 seconds, a second-and-a-half quicker than Steve Parks Winston Cup track record at the time. That works out to almost two miles per hour faster! mediafire/d…/5se1mxsb08cbhtj/Bristol_Dirt.zip
