Its the end of an Era, I have officially retired from Oasis Day Spa! Happy holidays and a very happy new year to you. Each year I receive letters from clients and friends telling me all about theyre past year and wishing us a happy new year. I love reading those letters, I love catch up with people near and far! Life truly is enriched by the relationships and experiences we create. I do hope you agree. This is my Christmas letter to you, This year has been incredible, I truly believe that after 20 years in the spa and salon industry The Oasis has the BEST team ever. Im so grateful to work with my life partner Nic and everyone else that day in and day out work so hard to please each and every one of you. I also LOVE our clients. I feel energized each and every day seeing your smiling faces. I enjoy hearing about your lives, sharing your excitement during times of celebration such as weddings and babies, and we are grateful to comfort you during times of stress and sorrow and loss. Over the years I fell like I am much more than a spa owner and massage therapist, I feel like I have many hats, such as a friend, a coach, a cleaning lady, a marketing manager, a therapist, a boss, a leader, a listener, a parent (even though I dont have any children), a decorator, a negotiator and most of all a partner. Now as of December 2014 I have a new hat, Im Retired!! Im so very honored to share with you after 12 years in the Princeton club and 20 years in total I have decided to pass off my hats to the proud new owners of Oasis Day Spa, Mark and Annette Mathews. As Many of you can appreciate I have lived and breathed the Spa for so many years. My dreams are to move some where warm, to have new adventures and to experience more. I am so grateful to have found new owners with similar values and goals that I had for the Oasis. They have great ideas and plans for expansion in 2015, I cant wait for you all to see it and meet them. I wanted to personally thank you all for helping my dreams come true at the Oasis. I started this company when I was 21 years old, my dream was to grow to a full service spa that could pamper couples, bridal parties and groups, if it wasnt for the team and the customers none if that would have happened. I am grateful for all the friendships I have created over the years from networking, massage, clients, staff and more. I know you will be in good hands, the Mathews have been at the Oasis since the middle of November and many of you have met them already. Please dont hesitate to write me if you have questions, ideas or a Christmas story of your own to share. You can reach me at lori@loriheffernon I cant thank you enough for all you have taught me, shared with me and supported me. It truly is a Happy New Year, Sincerely, Lori Heffernon Oasis Day Spas Previous Owner!
