Patricia Ann (Dyer) Taylor, 56, died after a long illness at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014. Born to William and Catherine Dyer in East Orange, she had lived in Wayne before moving to Vernon 29 years ago. Patricia worked as a teachers aide for Rolling Hills School most recently as well as working at Cedar Mountain, Lounsberry Hollow and Walnut Ridge schools in Vernon. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth J. Taylor (2010) and was the devoted mother of Michael Taylor, Caitlin and Joey of Vernon, Justin Taylor and his wife, Jessica, of Vernon, Kimberly Taylor and her fiancé, John, at home, and Kyle Taylor, at home. Cherished by several nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94 (1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., at St. Francis deSales R.C.
