It’s a rare occasion that I loudly berate someone for not watching a certain show, but Parenthood is always one of those shows. (Okay, some friends will probably argue I berate them a lot for not watching a laundry list of shows, but I’m sticking to my initial assertion. JUST SHHHHH AND GO WATCH PARENTHOOD!) The ensemble drama is beloved by critics and appallingly ignored by too many members of the general public. First of all, it’s the brain child of Jason Katims (the man behind Friday Night Lights and Roswell). Secondly, it boasts a gigantic cast – including but not limited to Craig T. Nelson, Lauren Graham, Peter Krause, Monica Potter, Erika Christiansen, Dax Shepard, Mae Whitman, and Sam Jaeger – all of whom are supremely talented and truly make the messy Braverman family both believable, relatable, and well…heartbreakingly AWESOME week in and week out.
