Ive been challenged to list 10 Books that have stayed with me in some way and tag people to do the same. Rules: 1. dont take more than a few minutes and dont think too hard. 2. They dont have to be right books or great works of literature, just ones that have affected you in some way. 3.tag 10 friends including me so I can see your list. 1. The Unbearable Lightness of Being - Milan Kundera 2. God Bless You Mr Rosewater - Kurt Vonnegut 3. The Life of Hunger - Amelie Nothomb 4. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - Jonathan Safran Foer 5. The Elegance of the Hedgehog - Muriel Barbery 6. Beer in the Snookerclub - Wagih Ghali 7. Season of Migration to the North - Al Tayib Saleh (Arabic) 8. Anne of Green Gables - Lucy Maud Montgomery 9. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe- C. S. Lewis 10. Life is Elsewhere - Milan Kundera (bonus books would be a series called Fearless - Francine Pascal) Anne of Green Gables was the first book I ever read, my dads cousin had brought for us as a gift from Canada when I was little. I blame my moments of existential questioning on my having read The Unbearable Lightness of Being at a relatively young age.. Thank you Zakaria, it felt good remembering how I felt reading those books!
