Ive been scouring the Browns boards since Sunday and what I have seen is some of the craziest postings. They want Pettine and Farmer fired? They have only put us in the best position that we have been in since we came back. Farmer has gotten us some very good talent through free agency (Whitner Dansby), draft (Gilbert, who will be very good in time, same with Manziel, Bitonio is already being considered a possible probowler, West will only get better, Kirksey will be a stud, and Desir showed promise when he played on Sunday, and UDFA with Crowell, Gabriel, and KWaun Williams. He even cherry picked a very good young swing tackle from the Seahawks who were trying to sneak through waivers named Michael Bowie. We put him on IR till next year. Pettine got more out of this team then anyone could have imagined. Even Vegas only had us winning 5 games. He is a fiery passionate coach which is exactly what this team and town needs. Sundays game sucked, but that was one game. It was a total team lose. A lot of people were quick to blame Johnny for the game, but when you really look at the game break down, he really didnt have much of a chance. They ran into a buzz saw and was thoroughly throttled. Some are saying that the team tanked on Johnny, that is preposterous, This team is poised to be very good for a long time and players want to succeed. Learning to be a winning organization takes time. We have a great young nucleus of players and some very good veterans to challenge for years. They wouldnt throw that away by being petty. We still have a lot of money for resigning our own players and for free agency and have 10 draft picks to manipulate the draft to build the roster. We will get Mack, big Phil and Armonty Bryant back from injury, This team will be dangerous. Go Browns.
