Ive not been the closest to my pappaw. Ive not made it a point to go see him when Im home. Ive not told him I love him enough. I know Im not his favorite grandchild, but hes my only pappaw. Today, daddy told me he was living on borrowed time and there wasnt a guarantee hed be with us when I went back home.. I didnt know how to reply to that text, heck.. I barely know how to approach pappaw just to tell him I love him! But its 2 in the morning and all I can think about is the way he used to rub his prickly beard all over my face when hed hug me. I might not have many memories with the ole man, but on nights like this they keep me going! If yall could just send up a prayer for my pappaw and my family it would mean so much to me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time out of your day to think about my pappaw!!!
