Ive realized family is nothing but a group of people that share your DNA. They dont have to support you, have your back OR love you. They just have to BE. So what that means to me is simply this: to say family over everything is a a quaint and charming IDEA; to live it is quite another task entirely... I have to love myself enough to accept no imposters. I have to love myself enough to step back and reevaluate those I that I have so carelessly given the title family member or friend. So if you find yourself deleted, either physically or otherwise from my life; think of it not as an offense against you. But rather as a symbol of growth for me. I have learned to love myself enough to stand BY myself. I encourage everyone to do the same.
