I’ll never forget the day I met 8-year-old Veronica Siaba, while I was working on the Today Show back in 2007. She had been living with cerebral palsy, and her dream, like so many young girls, was to be a ballerina. Thanks to Joann Ferrara, a physical therapist who started Dancing Dreams, Veronica was able to perform on stage! Today, I am attending their #ManhattanDream show and catching up with Veronica (now 15) and Joann! Can’t wait to see their recital – we’ll be featuring this amazing organization on The Meredith Vieira Show.
