I’ve been reading about an upcoming war for nearly 40 years. It is a war that will involve several nations. The United States will not be involved. The causalities will be in the millions. It will be a war that will lay the groundwork for the one-world government we have heard so much about. This battle is NOT the Battle of Armageddon. It is a battle that will take place primarily in Israel, but will spill over into neighboring nations. It will be a war that will come suddenly and will be short-lived. The following report from Washington Free Beacon is a prelude to this war: “Iran on Monday promised that Hezbollah would deliver crushing response to the Israeli attack over the weekend, which killed six Iranian agents, including a top-level commander, and five Hezbollah members. ‘The experience of the past shows that the resistance current will give a crushing response to the Zionist regime’s terrorist moves with revolutionary determination and in due time and place,’ Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), was quoted as saying. The Israeli strike came just days after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah declared that the terror group was preparing for a war in Israel’s northern Galilee region. It also occurred just a week after Iranian military leaders announced that they are operating missile sites in Syria, which potentially include a nuclear facility.” Alpha News Daily reminds us that, “God warns Iran (Persia), with Russia (Magog), and a coalition of allies (including Turkey, Libya, Sudan) will go to war and will invade Israel. In Ezekiel 38-39 the Bible tells of this coming war between Iran (Persia) and Israel will take place sometime after Israel has been re-gathered into Her land as a nation, which was fulfilled on May 14, 1948. This prophetic war has never yet taken place. The only time in history Persia (Iran) has ever gone to war against Israel was to help Israel throw off the yoke of the Byzantine Empire around 614 AD.” If we locate those nations on the map we will find that the invasion will come from the north, south, east and west. As most of my readers know, this invasion is also in the plans of the emerging “Caliphate” that the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS and other terror groups have been planning. With the U.S. sanctions and desperation on Russia and Iran, coupled with a weakening U.S., the time is ripe! This war will be unlike any other war in all history because of God’s intervention. There will be no other nation to defend Israel. Their only defense will be the Lord God sending supernatural destruction on the invaders; that will be enough. The “northern dome” that Israel is building will not sufficiently protect them. This is the only war mentioned in the Bible that has set aside 2 whole chapters to describe the devastation. I have to admit I am somewhat amazed that there is little reported about this coming war considering its magnitude and prophetic significance concerning the following one-world government, led by the anti-Christ. We all must recognize that there has been a weakening of American resolve to defend Israel. President Obama has no love for the Jewish state. Our enemies also realize there is a coming election where a stronger president may be elected, who will defend Israel. The time is ripe for them to attack in the manner described above! In Ezekiel 39 the Bible goes on to warn the invading armies will be utterly destroyed by God! Also in Ezekiel 39 there are hints this coming war may go nuclear because Israel will wait months to enter the battlefield after the battle. They will “set apart men regularly employed” (professionals) to bury the dead, and later if a bone is spotted, it is to be “marked” for the professionals to bury (exactly the same procedures that are now found in our military nuclear/biological/chemical “battlefield cleanup” manuals today). The aftermath of this invasion will be very, very gruesome. I suggest that you do your own study of these 2 chapters (Ezekiel 38-39) of the Bible in light of the present geo-political condition of the world. There are minor differences of opinions from the theologians. Some feel this war is part of the Armageddon conflict, but in my opinion, they are 2 different wars. When Armageddon is over the end will come and the Lord shall reign. That is not the case here. By Hannelore Morton
