J&K Chapter of All India Confederation of Sc/St/Obc Organisations held Meet in Extn. Appna Vihar Locality: A meeting of the prominent retired & in service employees was held in the Extn.Appna Vihar, Jammu regarding the mobilisation of support for pro-reservation Movement at State & Centre level. Mr RK Kalsotra State President Confederation appealed the participants to participate in Maha Rally on 8th December 2014 in Delhi to build the pressure on Modi Govt to pass the pending Reservation in promotion bill & Reservation Act & its inclusion in IX Schedule of the Constitution, Reservation in Pvt Sector as the Govt is shifting public sector to private sector. Confederation will also demand reservation in higher judiciary as out of 31 judges of the Supreme Court of India not a single judge belongs to SC/ST, similarly in 24 High Courts not a single Chief Justice hails from downtrodden.Sh. M R Bangotra Retd CEO who accompanied Sh Kalsotra said these demands will not be possible until SC/ST/ OBC are united at national level. All the speakers assured their full support to the Confederation and participation in the said Rally and also appreciated Mr Kalsotra for his tireless working & launching pro- reservation Movement in J&K State specially for Reservation Act-2004, Amendment of SRO-294 & Inter Distt. Reservationn.The prominent who spoke were S/Sh Ramesh Lal, Om Raj, Kuldeep Raj Bhagat, K L Chagathia, Yash Paul, Retd DSP Rattan Lal, Dr Tara Chand Bhagat, Amir Chand, Rajinder Attri, & Retd Principal S Parvana Ji.Sh.
