JANUARY MIXER - RUSHMORE HONORS The Chamber Awards will be held in conjunction with the Chambers January Mixer at The Dahl. Three of the Chambers major awards will be presented: the Rushmore Honors Awards, the Granite Award, and the ATHENA Award. The Rushmore Honors Awards, sponsored by the Chambers Creative Industries Committee, Black Hills Playhouse and Suzie Cappa Art Center, highlight four individuals for their contributions to culture and the arts in the Rapid City area.This years honorees are: Julie McFarland, Linda Hasselstrom, Beth Palmer & Ann Henrichsen and Krisi Thielen. Photos that will be hung in the Civic Center Theatre are provided by Johnny Sundby Photography. The Granite Award, sponsored by the Diplomat Committee, is given to a Chamber member business that is an asset to the area and a pillar of the community. This years award will be presented to Northwest Pipe Fittings. The ATHENA Award is sponsored by Project Solutions and the Chambers Ambassadors Committee, and presented to a person who is honored for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional and leadership skills.
