JAPAN EARTHQUAKE: An earthquake measured at 6.8 on the Richter scale was detected east of Japan on July 11, prompting the Japan Meteorological Agency to issue a tsunami advisory for a number of prefectures including Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima, which was devastated by the tsunami that struck Japan in March of 2011. This footage captures earthquake warning sirens sounding in Miyagi, near Ishinomaki-shi.
