Srinagar// incarcerated ailing JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik who was lodged at SKIMS hospital wastoday shifted back to Islamabad jail. Police crackdown on JKLF continues as police today arrested JKLF zonal president Noor Mohammad Kalwal at Basant Bagh Sgr. Police also raided the residences of JKLF vice chairmen Mushtaq Ajmal and Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi. Despite oppressive measures by authorities JKLF delegations continued election boycott campaign with passion. Ailing JKLF who was admitted at Soura medical institute was today early morning shifted back to Islamabad jail. Yasin sahib was shifted to SKIMS after he was diagnosed with multiple stones in both kidneys. Hospital was turned into a worst interrogation centre for Yasin sahib and nobody was allowed to meet him there .A policeman was kept inside his room for twenty-four hours and people who wanted to see ailing leader were rigorously grilled before entering the ward (room) Yasin sahib was kept in. Meanwhile police after raiding the JKLF office at Abiguzar and virtually closing it down,today arrested JKLF zonal president Noor Mohammad Kalwal from Basant Bagh . Noor sahib was stopped near Basant bagh while he was on way to office and arrested. He is being kept at Kralkhud police station. Police also continued with its acts of state terrorism against peaceful JKLF leaders and workers and raided the residences of JKLF vice chairmen Mushtaq Ajmal at Batamaloo and Showkat Ahmad Bakshi at Bemina last night. Despite police oppression, JKLF leaders and activists continued with their election boycott campaign as various delegations led by Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Mushtaq Ajmal ,Bashir Kashmiri and Syed Nisar Jeelani ,visited Ganderbal localities including Shalabugh, Beiten,Wakoora and Saidpora , Srinagar localities including Bemina, Qamarwari,Khanyar, Rainawari and Nowpora and Bandipora localities including Sundarwani, Gulshan Park, Plan and Bandipora town and asked people to stay away from so called elections. While speaking to the people in these areas JKLF leaders Showkat Ahmad Bakshi, Mushtaq Ajmal and Bashir Kashmiri strongly condemned the repressive behavior of authorities against JKLF leaders and activists. Leaders said that pro India leaders and parties are using police as a tool of oppression to subjugate peacefull political leaders and activists. Police is harassing the families of these political workers by nocturnal raids and sole purpose of police is to push peaceful workers to the wall. JKLF leaders said that JKLF despite these entire one sided acts of state terrorism will continue with its peaceful political activities and no intimidations or harassments can stop us from perusing the path of resistance. Leaders said that by resorting to these mean tactics Indian rulers and their Kashmiri stooges have actually rubbished their own claims of democracy and tolerance. Leaders said that these acts have also proved beyond doubt that Jammu Kashmir is police state and elections are nothing but a military operation conducted under the garb of so called democracy. Leaders asked people to boycott these farce and sham elections. On the occasion written material emphasizing upon the need to boycott elections was also distributed among the people. It is worth to mention that along with JKLF chairman many JKLF leaders and activists including vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, vice chairman master sheikh Mohammad Afzal, secretary general engineer Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, zonal deputy chief organizer Siraj Ud Din Mir, zonal president Noor Mohammad Kalwal ,zonal senior vice president Mohammad Yasin Bhat, zonal press secretary Mohammad Ashraf Dar, District presidents Bashir Ahmad Boya, Rafiq Ahmad War and Javed Ahmad Butt, sectary Ganderbal Gayas ud din, Abdul Hamid, Mohammad Sultan Wani ,Mohammad Akbar ,Fayaz Ahmad of Bihama , Aakif Ahmad, Mudasir Ahmad , Parvaiz Ahmad lone and Mohammad Himayoon of etc. are languishing in different jails.
