Silent 16mm colour footage taken by my grandfather, T.J. Morris, in the early 1950s, narrated in August, 2012 by his sons - Harvey and my father, Joe - at Dads home in Port Hawkesbury. The action up until 5:37 consist of inboard and outboard power boat races in the proximity of the Mira Boat Club, in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, in which Harvey raced. The second location on the reel feature more power boat races at Lake Banook, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This action is cut short as a result of a technical glitch which interrupted the narration, so a second video in this series backs up to the start of the Lake Banook races.
