JOINT OPERATION WAFRA - KUWAIT is currently seeking candidates for the following position : RIG SUPERVISOR (ROTATION), 1.Follows and implements Environment, Health, & Safety procedures. Includes; maintaining good housekeeping &safe operations, ensuring compliance with all EHS policies, rules & regulations, correcting exposure to hazards to prevent incidents or accidents, participating in contractors’ safety meetings, continuously conduction on site safety review, and ensuring that safe practices are pursued as per API standards 2.Coordinates the provision of required materials and services to complete assigned well programs without delays before and during the operation. Includes, but is not limited to, location preparation, materials withdrawal from warehouse, coordination with service agreement contractors the demand of equipment and services, etc. 3.Performs frequent inspections for required rig equipment and equipment condition. Includes, securing operations to correct deficit contractors’ equipment situations, ensuring that operations are conducted in a safe, timely and efficient manner, and working with contractors’ personnel in a clear, concise, and professional manner to establish safe procedures, emphasizing best practices 4.Participates in developing appropriate well work techniques to achieve the desired results. Includes, attending pre work meetings, and reviewing & recommending modifications of procedures to minimize rig time on wells while maintaining safety on the rig site. 5.Supervises the daily activities of the rig or assigned personnel. Includes, but not limited to, drilling deepening, fishing, work over, completions, well service, stuffing box adjustment / replacement, flow line flushing, and wellhead stabilization and or replacement. 6.Supervises the services personnel in relation to well programs. Includes, but not limited to logging (as required), cementing, perforating, stimulation, fishing tools, mud or fluids, etc. 7.Checks and ensures that subsurface equipment is functioning properly prior to rig release. Includes, coordination and verification that there are no restrictions from the well to the sub-center. 8.Remains with rig or personnel at all times as operations require until well or work is secured and safe to leave unattended. Works additional hours as required to ensure compliance with safety supervised operations. 9.Assists in the specifications of the rig or service requirements, as well as in the review of operational terms and conditions. Includes following contract and operational requirements to minimize problems associated with contract management 10.Performs pre-tender and pre-commencement inspection to the contractors’ equipment as required. Includes checking specifications and valid certification of the equipment as per contract requirement to ensure compliance with contract specifications. 11.Assists in resolving operational issued associated with desired operations vs. equipment capabilities. Includes understanding the operational problem and equipment well to ensure smooth operations 12.Interacts with customer Divisions such as Asset Management Team and Production Operations. Includes, contacting AMT engineers with regard to their objectives for the proposed work, suggest program resolution and modification accordingly to suit the changing conditions in the well and to achieve goals, and assists with Production Operations to put well on production after completing ESP, SRP, PCP services and also after Work over operations to resolve well problems.
