JUST GOT ADOPTED!!!! WOOHOO OMG! Look at Baxter the Australian Bulldog looking for his forever home through Gosford Dog Paws!!! Baxter was surrendered to the RSPCA, but because the person who surrendered him was not on his microchip he was officially a stray and was brought into our care. Baxter was surrendered because the owners said he was too big for their children. Baxter is the most beautifully handsome man! He knows his basic commands and sits when asked, he also loves rolling over for a big belly rub and he comes when he is called. When he is fed he will sit and wait at the bowl until a command is given to eat. Baxter loves his food, he showed no food aggression, but you could tell he was quite possessive of it, so you can’t push him whilst he is eating. Because of his love of food, Baxter should be able to be easily trained using food as the motivator. Baxter doesn’t require much exercise as he tires quickly. He gets along well with other dogs, he would prefer to be the dominant dog though, and he is quite a rough and boisterous player. Baxter walks well on the lead until he sees another dog, which he will pull quite hard to get to and say hello, so his new owner must be quite strong to be able to control him.
