James Jasper Goins, age 77, of Sneedville, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 4, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Brownlow & Cora Goins; daughter, Jody Goins; sons, James Jr., Allen & Marty Goins; brothers, Woodrow & Cecil Goins; grandson, Jerry Roach Jr. and brother-in-law, Charlie Kerr Survivors include; Ex-Wife; Evelina Goins Children; Frankie Goins, Gaylene Goins, Tammy Jo Lea, Susan Goins, Crystal Goins, April Roach & Mark Goins Step-Children; Melissa Sneed and Cecil Collins Brothers; Barney, Paris & Olen Goins Sisters; Allene Wells & Rose Kerr He was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren His name is one we will all cherish. He was always a person you could depend on, kind enough to give the shirt off of his back, quick to take any opportunity to help anyone. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all. Through this hard time we must all remember that death brings only a new, happier beginning. In loving memory of James Jasper Goins Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel Rev. Don Crider officiating Interment will follow in the Goins Cemetery The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the McNeil Funeral Home In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to McNeil Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
