Jammu : 20 Sep 2013 The volleyball tournament named Tiger Cup is being organized by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Nachlana, in joint collaboration with District Youth Services and Sports, Ramban and youth association of Nachlana from 19 to 22 Sep 2013. The aim of the tournament is to encourage sports amongst the youth and identify budding volleyball players in the district. The tournament is spread over a span of four days and a total of twenty teams are participating in the said tournament. The tournament was inaugurated by the Commanding Officer of Rashtriya Rifles Battalion and chairman of the village amidst gathering of huge Numbers of civil dignitaries and local peoples. During the tournament, volleyball team of Ramban District will also be participating prior to the State volleyball championship being conducted in next month.
