Jay Inslee is on the fence about supporting I-522 and he mistakenly thinks this is purely about whether the GMO seeds produce a plant that is safe to eat. He is missing all the other things that come with GMO including increased pesticides, non-sustainable farming, risk to natural seed stocks, economic impacts to small farmers, economic risks to export crops, etc. Mostly he is missing the fundamental point that people have a right to know what is in their food so they can decide for themselves.
