Jefferson County Schools will delay opening tomorrow (Thursday January 8) by two hours. Heres a statement from the District: Due to the expected frigid temperatures, JefCoEd Schools will delay school opening by two hours Thursday, January 8. Classes will begin at 10 a.m. and buses will run two hours later than normal. There will be no breakfast served. Principals will make accommodations to let students in each facility and be supervised prior to class time at 10 a.m.
