Jeffrey Reid and I have been friends ever since he and the bands harmonica player Kim came out to San Francisco to see Van Morrison play a series of shows at The Masonic Auditorium and Bimbos in 1999. It was a great week of music and fun (we got to hang out with Sam Butera from Louos Primas famous band-- as well as Michelle Philips from the Mamas and the Papas--and we talked to Robin Williams in the lobby of Bimbos). A while back I asked Jeff if he and the rest of the Lost City Band would be willing to record a song inspired by photographs.
