Jenny Capel is about to finish her attempt at completing the entire Tahoe Rim Trail (about 172 miles) this morning. She may beat or tie the FKT for a female to do this when she finishes at Echo Summit in the south Lake Tahoe area around 54 hours after she started on Saturday morning. For those of you unfamiliar to ultrarunning, this epic run is historic as very few people have attempted such a feat. Jenny is one remarkable woman and although she has sought little attention for her accomplishment, I am bursting with pride to share about her.
