Jerry Vale passed away on May 18th, 2014. He recorded songs from 1952 to 1974 under the Columbia Record label. During that 22 years he had several #1 Billboard charting hits, dozens in the top 20 and dozens more in the top 100. He has several gold record recordings and recorded approximately 600 songs. He did concerts from 1952 to 2001 in just about every city in the United States, Australia, and on cruise lines. He performed at Carnegie Hall in 1964 to a sold out audience and again in 1995. He appeared on almost every variety TV show of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. He lived and performed in Las Vegas for years, and also played the famous clubs like the Copa Cabana. He was the Good Luck Charm for David Letterman. He made several cameo appearances in movies like Casino, Goodfellas, A Wake In Providence and lots of TV shows. His recording of the National Anthem was the only recording to ever be inducted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame. Jerry had a great interest in charities for children, especially abused children. He was a gracious and humble family man, very well loved and respected. We love you Jerry and will be greatly missed. (Clean audio file courtesy of Maria Nuyts of Radio Minerva Belgium,)
