Jim Murphy is being seen as a hero etc and the overwhelming amount - TopicsExpress

Jim Murphy is being seen as a hero etc and the overwhelming amount of publicity it has given him and how negative it makes the Yes vote look is staggering, but not surprising. Now lets we put either side of the debate aside for a minute look at the egg incident. At about 18 secs into the video the first egg is thrown - not much is done, apart from Jim apologising (why he has to apologise..?) Then, when the second egg is thrown, and he ducks, the man comes up a split second later and hits him. At no point does he try to move and more interestingly no one from the No camp even attempts to stop him. The man then walks away completely unchallenged. So what, what does that prove. Well not much as nobody, Yes or No can identify the man. However, if you have a moment look at the FifeToday and Dundee Courier reporting of the incident - I have never seen such bias. They use words like combative and make all the Yes supporters out to be an angry mob. Even Murphy is calling for the Mobs to be called off. There are no mobs, do people get loud and passionate, of course they do. Ive seen plenty footage of his soapbox talks and he shouts just as much. The one in Ayr when he, not only refuses to answer a pensioners question he actually turns his back on her as she waits for about three minutes with no answer. So ask yourself this, why is it that despite all the photographers, people with their video phone etc there are no published pictures of the egg thrower. Perhaps he was a Yes voter, but perhaps, just perhaps he was from Jims side staging the incident to give the Yes vote a biased, negative image to gain support. And you have to laugh when he says he as suspended his talks for three days, not after Police advice but three days to SEEK advice.
