Applicants must be a high school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent, over 21 years of age and a maximum age per Illinois State Statue at the time of written examination and posting of eligibility register. Copies of the following documents must be submitted with completed application: high school diploma, or its equivalent, Military discharge - Form DD-214, if applicable, a certified copy of your birth certificate, a valid drivers license, and a valid F.O.I.D. card. Applications may be picked up at the City Hall, 100 West Broadway, Johnston City, IL 62951 (618-983-6651) and must be returned to Johnston City City Clerk, 100 West Broadway, Johnston City, IL 62951, on or before 4:00 P.M.
