Jobs Available – AMAN-PALS Rescue “PALS is Pakistan’s only water safety, drowning prevention and rescue authority. We create a safe environment on Karachi’s beaches and coastline through patrols, education, training, public safety campaigns and the promotion of health and fitness. PALS was born out of a necessity – a necessity to safeguard and protect the lives of all the beach going population of Pakistan. Prior to our inception in 2004, there used to be on average 250+ cases of drowning every year along the beaches of Karachi. PALS has been able to contain this drowning rate to ‘near zero’ since 2004 to date. PALS is an internationally accredited lifeguarding establishment, representing Pakistan in the International Life Saving Federation (ILS). PALS is also a member of the Royal Life Saving Society of the UK and is closely associated with Surf Life Saving New Zealand, who have an on-going ‘train and assist’ program with us. After the DHA-Clifton Beach eid day incident they felt the need of expending big time to the savior of Karachi. Position 1: Visualized / Graphic Designer Requirements: BS (Media Science); Fresh or 1 – 2 years experienced Strong visualization power Outstanding designing and managerial Skills: Can think out of the box Excellent communication skills with very good written and oral faculty of expressions in English Position 2: Manager Communications &PR Requirements: MBA;3 – 4 years experienced Good Command on language (Urdu/English) Sound liaison and representational skills Awareness of and commitment to issues of media Excellent communication skills with very good written and oral faculty of expressions in English/Urdu Position 3: Creative Manger / Copy Writers Requirements: MBA; 1 – 3 years experienced Good Command on language (Urdu/English) Ability to develop creative concepts Excellent communication skills with very good written and oral faculty of expressions in English Position 4: Manager Fund Raising Requirements: MBA/BBA/BS; 4 – 5 years of successful fundraising experience• Able to offer strategic leadership as well as high quality direct fundraising skills Experience in successfully delivering capital fundraising campaigns focused on grants and major donors is essential. Excellent communication skills with very good written and oral faculty of expressions in English/Urdu Position 5: Manager Social Media Requirements: BBA/BS; Fresh or 1 – 2 years experienced Manage Social Media Properties (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube etc.) Acquainted with Graphic Designing Ability to develop and manage Social media Plan with effective methods Can understand the e-commerce and able to generate funds via Social Media Excellent communication skills with very good written and oral faculty of expressions in English Position 6: Manager International Activities Requirements: MBA/BBA/BS; 6 – 7 years of successful fundraising experience Able to offer strategic leadership as well as high quality direct international fundraising Skills: Experience in successfully delivering capital fundraising campaigns focused on grants and major donors is essential.
