Otunumeruke if are in this country you will be puzzled to note another pattern ...first the BH targatted Christians and churches awaiting reprisals by christians in the north. That did not work. They then attacked muslims even in places of worship particularly the islamic clerics that preached against them...nothing went out of hand. Time and again they attacked long vehicles going down south all in the north. From north east zone to Plateau, kaduna to kano ...maiduguri and damaturu a countless number of times, Do you think Boko Haram with this sophisticated successes in bombings and raids in the north can not equally extend its terrorism to the south? If it is true that they have the ability and capability to defeat our soldiers even before the kidnapping of the over 200 girls, dont you think again that the kidnapping is just a cover to give the insurgency another interpretation of the whole show? My friend think of the trillion naira and only God knows the amount expended on insurgents in an area not larger than the Liberian jungle where our soldiers performed better. Please help me cite a single battle in the history of conventional warfare where a Colonel was killed in battle...it may interest you to know that we lost a number. Cant you see the road to 2015...elections or balkanization of the nation? Wole Soyinka, my literary idol recently said in an interview on the TVC channel that NIGERIA IS BREAKING INTERNALLY WITH THE INSURGENCY IN THE NORTH EAST. His take was on how we are not seeing far.
