Johnny is still somewhat sedated. He was able to communicate some with hand gestures that he was hot and wanted a fan, a drink and he wanted the breathing tube out now! (As he put it) I even managed to get a few eye rolls when I wasnt able to understand his hand gestures. They started weaning him off the breathing machine but he wasnt breathing well enough on his own to get the tube out. So they have put him back on some sedation to make him more comfortable and will try to take it out later today. They are still referring to this as the early stages because hes only been out of surgery for about 12 hours. Keep the thoughts, prayers and positive energy coming. Hes got a couple rough days ahead but he is making progress.
