Jonathan Korman, you might be interested in giving this a read through. I believe he is coming from a minarchist perspective, so it looks like he is the brand of libertarian who favors very small government. Still, his arguments are very good, and I believe he properly defeats the typical big-statist argument against libertarianism. The pure-libertarian (in other words, anarchist), takes the following tact: [2] Government is the only political system compatible with [1] (I think you would change this to LDP Government, right?) Pure libertarians say that in general, government ([2]) is totally incompatible with [1]. I thought you would enjoy this article since it dovetails nicely with the many debates we have had.
