When he started fasting and seeking God, he probably wasnt planning on a 21 day fast. He just purposed in his mind that he would seek God until an answer came. One day went by. Two days went by. 14 days went by. 20 days went by and there still was no answer. He could have became weary and fainted in his mind but he didnt. He could have been discouraged due to delay, but he didnt. Had he given up on day 20 he would have missed his time of visitation. His answer came on day 21. Do not faint in your mind.
