Judging by the name 熱血時報, I should be able to tell my thoughts will not be very welcomed here. But still, unless you have a hidden cause (like brainwashing) for making such films, Id like to see the foreigners telling a bit more about their background, e.g. where theyre from, whether theyre tourists or work here, how much do they know about HK and whether theyve been following the developments of this event from the start. Otherwise, Ill find it hard to tell how much weightings or credits I should give to what theyre saying. Most of all, in order to educate or inform people better, do you think you could add a little opposing opinions of one or two foreigners who share a different view? I know Im asking too much here but HK still has freedom of speech, right? Because in the United States, we helped invent democracy, when I go to another country, Id like to see it being extended. Such is the general mentality of the people in the streets of the United States. But pardon me for quoting, Simple-minded, sometimes naive! For this is without any coincidence that, the people who are in this movement also see DEMOCRACY overblown to such an extent that any other considerations are just secondary, if not tertiary, and anything that gets in the way are expendable and should be sacrificed. Such beliefs are undoubtedly reckless and irresponsible because its like theyre disregarding the other possibilities or routes and whether HK can bear or sustain the consequences of such doomed-to-fail movement. Now I didnt say all Americans above, I said the man in the street, that means a lot of Americans know a lot better than what they have to say in front of the camera, they simply wont talk about the deeper issues here.
