July 10th-significant for two things. First is happy 21st birthday to Erin Emmel, my granddaughter, who is 21 today. Happy birthday to a sweet girl who is a blessing to the Robinson and Emmel families. The other significant memory of this day is my wedding anniversary 37 years ago--not to Bill or Randy but my first short marriage to Tom. It was a rough marriage to say the least. There are good memories but mostly it was very difficult. I think I gave it a good try but I have never been sorry that I left an impossible situation. I did learn a lot from those 3 1/2 years with Tom and in the end found happiness first with Bill and then Randy and to this day I miss my flyboy and my sailor who both died too soon. Incidentally Tom is still living back home and every few years I run into him when I am home and we have a friendly relationship but no regrets on my part that I said "Enough".
