July 6, 13 The Noles traveled out to Medford, LI to play the LI Panthers. Panthers took the lead 6-0, The Noles Came back to tie 6-6 with a pass from JWilson to MSepth. Panthers scored twice in the third quarter to take a 18-6 lead... Ed Hardaway blocked a crucial field goal attempt to keep the game at a 12 point deficit. The Seminoles blocked two extra point attempts and one 2 point attempt… Those stops were crucial as those lost points would come back to haunt the Panthers. At the start of the 4th Qtr down 12 pts, JWilson lead the Noles down the field 80yrds on 4 plays and with a deep ball thrown to LGonzales , Lenny showed superb hand skills and basically Mossed the corner for a TD… Game score is 18-13. With 8:55 left in the Game the offense begged the defense to hold and get the ball back. Defense stepped up and got the ball back to the offense… JWilson again came through. With Ed Hardaway stepping in at receiver, JW put the ball up in down the left side, a tip drill by the defenders right into Ed’s awaiting hands and jogged into the end zone… Score 18-20… The Noles came back to take the lead and hold on for the win… The Panthers proved to be a very formidable opponent today and balled out from the first whistle to the last. Ray Marx and his staff have a good program out there in LI… keep up the good work Noles and Panthers… ball out and leave it on the field. Daniel Jose #6 reporting (wore #30 for this game)
