Just Sharing...a Thought: Paul says in Philippians 3:13&14, Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. More than anything, Paul wanted to know Jesus Christ, not about Him, but know Him, thus attaining the prize. We are members of the Body of Christ, yet, we are but beginning to know Christ. We know of Him, we know about Him, but to know Him...is a journey forward. Paul said that there is one thing that he did to truly journey forward and that was forgetting those thing which are behind. Those things that Satan wants to whisper in our ear that we cant do it, what if we fail, who do we think we are, look at what weve done, and on and on. He never stops, wanting to keep us in fear, judgements and failings. Christ calls us forward in the truth of, Therefore, there is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.(Romans 8:1) Through Salvation we are now in Christ Jesus and He in us, and in this we are walking after the spirit, even as we are still continually tempted in the flesh. So let us do one thing: forgetting. It may be hard to forget those things which are behind, but we can begin forgetting by reaching forward to those things which are ahead and in committed faith press toward the goal for the prize, to know Jesus Christ, even as He knows us - as we journey Homeward in that upward call of God. To know Him is to know His Body, of which we are a member, together in a great, good, loving and caring Family of God. Praise You, Jesus!! Bro.
