Just a bit of sharing yeah: In one of the Parenting Talk I have attended, we were asked to share about being Foster Parents. One of the sharing was that if you do good thing you will be blessed. So a lot of people have that belief that they want to be blessed so they do good things :) Nice thought indeed. Heres mine. I am indeed blessed so I go into volunteering works because I want to do good, I want to share my home, I want to share my time, I want to share my resources to the real needy. I want to be part of the less fortunate not because I wanted to be blessed but because I am blessed. I am not helping the foster children rather they are helping us why because without them I cant have opportunity to do all those. They are instrument for us to have the chance to be good so I thank GOD for having all these children that passed through our hands. Some of them had already been adopted, some had been reunited to their own families and some are still with us giving us joy, the joy of PARENTHOOD. The JOY OF GIVING IS THE JOY OF LIVING. Sharing our home to total strangers is no easy task and no easy job, to raise them, not just giving them their physical needs, emotional, financial and spiritual development not to mention meeting their WANTS not just needs. I am not working to earn a living as my husband David Lee, wants me to be a good wife and a Mother to many whom we raised like our own though not related at all. When I joined the contest on FamilyMatters! I garnered the highest vote but we did not win any prize not even runner up. Its fine with me, the prize is immaterial but I didnt know what and why we didnt been selected wherein the first criteria is who got the highest vote. Thank You! I wrote this to let my friends know and to thank them for their participation and for taking troubles to vote.
