Just a few reminders.... The Bible Readings for this week: Monday: John 1:19-28, Tuesday: John 1:29-34, Wednesday: John 1:35-42, Thursday: John 1:43-51, Friday: John 2:1-11. The church fellowship dinner this week will be potato soup, vegetable beef soup, cheese cornbread, jell-o salad and homemade cookies prepared by Clyde & Jerri Keen. Please let the church office know by noon today if you plan to attend. Sunday, January 11th, we will ordain David Campbell and Justin Spears to the Deacon Ministry during our 11:00 am worship time. The Deacons will meet Sunday, January 11th at 2:00 pm. Mission Action will meet on Monday, January 12th at 7:30 pm. Prayer Support will meet on Tuesday, January 13th at 10:00 am. EVP Group will meet on Wednesday, January 14th at 5:15 pm. We will have our quarterly Business Meeting on Wednesday, January 21st at 6:30 pm. On January 25th the children will have lunch right after church and then head to Staunton for an afternoon of bowling. Please let Ms. Beverly know (460-0409) if you plan to go so that we can arrange transportation. The 2015 Church Offering Envelopes are available and ready to be picked up. They are located on the table outside of the office. Do you love to cook? Are you are interested in preparing a meal or several meals on Wednesdays for the church dinners in 2015? If so, please contact the church office to sign up! We have lots of dates open January through May. The Rockbridge Area Relief Association Item of the month for January is body soap. Please bring your donations to the church and leave them in the box outside the choir room. Thank you for your support!
