Just a little update to the current news story that has a lot of people talking.....which is good! Chaining needs to be brought to the forefront of our animal welfare conversations! NMDOG visited the location today after speaking with the Town of Bernalilllo ACO (whom we have worked with many times in the past....as our beginnings as NMDOG began in this very community). Berna AC made contact prior to our arrival & were successful in working with the guardians to get him off of this heavy chain & to temporarily secure the fence so the dogs cannot get out. We provided some simple provisions....winter coats for the upcoming cold, toys, food & water bowls
