Just a suggestion on getting medication into your dog easy. Visual demonstration I squeeze out about an inch or more and cut it off and refrigerate the remainder. Then I cut the chosen part in half and then I take a thin sharp knife and slice into it but not all the way thru, forming a pocket as demonstrated. I tuck the medication down deep into the corner. Then I have enough left over to pull small pieces off to feed my dog to whet the taste buds...usually at that point they forgot they watched you open the pill bottles. .. So far Otter who is a Master at detecting pills and spitting them out has eaten them down perfectly! May not work for very small dogs but just another idea is all. :)
