Just about a week ago, Shlomi Hassan and I went to a Docker hands on introduction Meetup, For those of you no familiar with the concept and what docker does, Its based on the Idea of Linux namespaces, Dockers Containers work on the concept of services and Software Stack consolidation. You can think of it as a Virtualization equivalent but on a single Linux OS (or distributed managed group of servers). I found a nice example of some DockerFiles in SequenceIQs GitHub, The have a Docker image of Spark 1.2 and Hadoop 2.6 ready to use.
