Just back from shows with KISSmania at the Los Angeles County Fair, had some strong shows with the guys, then the adventure continued. I moved over to stay at the Highland Gardens Hotel (formerly the Landmark) and stayed in room 105 otherwise known as the room where Janis Joplin resided on a regular basis from 1968-70 and where she unfortunately died from a heroin overdose. I ate and drank at Barneys Beanery. I also went to the Store where the creatures meet made famous in the doors song Love Street in Laurel Canyon, and visited Pam Coursons apt. there, where Jim Morrison spent alot of time. I also visited Marilyn Monroes house in Beverly Hills as well as where the Manson clan killed Dallasite Sharon Tate and her friends. Due to something thats legal in Ca. but not Tx. I couldnt stay there long! It was creepy.
